Mind Node

Works with Voiceover, but some things need to be improved. When typing, the Voiceover cursor jumps out of focus, making typing very difficult. Other than that, its a decent mind mapping app.

Good, but not very easy to use

I really like the way it allows me to map my ideas, but it is not very user friendly. I know understand better, but it took me such a long time to know how it works. How many taps and what buttons? It was confusing.

excellent tool

This is an excellent tool for quickly mapping out any number of ideas. One feature I would like to see is the ability to have a more defined decision point. Something that allows you to split a node and have two sub nodes but have those sub nodes also point back to a single child node.

Great balance of features and elegance.

Other mind mapping apps may boast more features, but MindNode is the gold standard.

I use MindNode for everything

I have never found any software that matches my brain as perfectly as MindNode does. I guess I think in the way things relate to one another, so I use MindNode for my monthly calendar, for keeping shopping lists by store (until Im ready to place an order), for keeping contact lists by type of relationship (family, businesses, friends, doctors, etc.) I then keep phone #, address, cost (for taxis, fees, minimum charge), any other notes. There they are, all in one place, whatever I might need and I can easily add anything else when I think of it. Useful for keeping types of exercises in one place, or keeping list of things for a job search - anything. At present I have 20 or 30 different documents and couldnt manage without then. My only wish is that I could sync between my iPad documents and put them on my iMac and maybe my iPhone. I have found the company very responsive when I had a problem. Wish every product was as responsive.

Its a must for any project planning!

Please consider buying the Mac version to do all the hard work and use the iOS as a companion to take all your notes with you on the go. Never tried using it on the iPad, but the bigger the screen the better experience you will have with this amazing app.

Intuitive--powerful!

Ive been using this app more than I thought I would! Easy to use, intuitive, lots of features packed into this tool. Thanks!

Best app ever!

I got this app when it was the free app of the week, and boy am I glad I did. I use MindNode every day in school and love it, Defiantly worth the money!

Great Mind Map Tool!

I love the style and options.

Organize Your Brain!

MindNode is like emptying the junk drawer of your brain. You will realize that whats in there is actually not junk, but a panoply of interesting and useful ideas.

My favorite app!!!

Fantastic design, plenty of options, logical and creative! I really love this app and use it for most of my notes and ideas. Well done!

Excellent!

I see what I am thinking. Its easy to use.

A must have tool for the creative mind!

As a filmmaker and a business owner I struggle with keeping track of all the moving parts of film productions. And as a creative minded person I have found it very difficult get my ideas into a working plan quickly. But not now, in just a matter of days Im brainstorming massively complex production plans and creating a real time map of the systems needed to execute them! This is a powerful tool and combined with the Mac full version the sky is the limit. I highly recommend starting mind mapping today!

Good idea but needs more options

I really like the concept of organizing ideas this way but I wish it had more ways of grouping, sorting, visualizing, and prioritizing. I have ADD and this can help with focus and mental organization, but it only applies to certain things due to its limited features. It starts with a main topic and branches out, much like a diagram of disease spreading. It has a few style options but I would like different organizing & structure templates. I want to make lists and charts with different structures and the option to move nodes and make more types of connections such as shopping lists, family trees, task lists, and inventory. I also would like the option to add links, sort data in various ways, and cut/paste nodes. If this app had these features, it would be very useful and the only thing of its kind. I like the concept but please add more features. This app is a great start to something really awesome!

Amazing Idea

Im getting into app development, and I was thinking to make something like this... but you guys beat me to it

Just OK

MindNode is simple enough to use, but suffers from many oversimplifications. The graph visualization prefers to follow predefined templates instead of allowing some freedom in node placements. The compacted creation is difficult to follow visually, especially when there are interconnections between nodes. The app regularly stalls, making it frustrating to use for quick charts.

Map Disappeared

I love this app but my ONE mind map that I was using for my home projects has disappeared and Im not very happy about it. Boo.

MindNode is Amazing Ive Never Been Able to Organize My Thoughts ...

MindNode really has been amazing Ive never been able to organize my thoughts like this I have tried many other mind mapping apps on the AppStore. The only reason I didnt give MindNode five stars is because the note that can be added on to the mind map gets erased when I have looked up information to add to the note Im working on. If there was anyway to fix that I would for sure give it five stars. MindNode can do what none of the other apps have been able to accomplish that is no small thing. I highly recommend this app for anyone needs an help with sorting out their thoughts as I and many others have by seeking out MindNode.

Beautiful and useful

I was looking for a mind map app for a while. I choose one that could be used in the web browser, but I end up buying the iPad version and its keep asking me to sign monthly plan. Then I stop using. Comparing to other applications for iOS its a little bit pricy, but its worth. Integration with iCloud is flawless. Some reviews complain its too simple, but shouldnt be simple? Well, my review is mine and simple is something that I was looking for

I almost love it

I would love this app if it did not frustrate me beyond reason. My only gripe is that it will not sync consistently with its Mac counterpart. The font will return to Halvetica in a random manner. Some nodes might keep the formatting, some do not and some never adapt their counterparts font at all. I really do not like Halvetica at all. It is so overused that I cannot stand to look at it, let alone watch my careful formatting of different coordinating fonts for different levels devolve into a haphazard mess every time I open a map on my phone. If I could depend on seamless integration, this would be a five star review, no question. Without it; however, I dont want to use either. And that hurts when I paid $30 for the Mac version because it was supposed to blend into the famed Apple ecosystem perfection.
